Tyler Goodro/Owner
For over 15+ years Tyler has instructed, coached and scouted thousands of youth, high school and collegiate baseball players. He spent over five seasons playing Professional Baseball and has served as an Area Associate Scout for the Phillies & Twins Organizations covering Eastern Nebraska, and Western Iowa.
Tyler starred at perennial power Creighton Prep during his high school years, garnering First Team All-Nebraska honors in both his junior and senior campaigns. In 2004, Tyler helped Creighton Prep capture their 8th State Championship at Rosenbaltt Stadium hitting in the game-winning RBI.
After high school Tyler signed a letter-of-intent to the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, turning down offers from Nebraska, Kansas State, Stanford, and Oklahoma State. Although his time was short in Fayetteville, Tyler credits the coaching staff for shaping him into the instructor and coach he is today.
Tyler transferred to Butler Community College and again would help his team achieve a Championship. While catching, he played a pivotal role during Butler's Region VI Championship, calling a one-hit shutout to help Butler to just its second trip the the NJCAA World Series. In Grand Junction, Tyler would make the All-Tournament Honorable-Mention team hitting .461 (6-13) and helping Butler to a 6th place finish in the country.
After his stint at Butler, Tyler transferred to the University of Cincinnati. During his time in Cincinnati, the team set regular season records for wins, team batting average, and home runs - eventually finishing Runners-up in both the Big East regular season and conference tournament .
Tyler would go on to play baseball professionally for five years, having had the opportunity to suit up for two managers that won World Series. He also had the chance to catch many pitchers that have made it to the Big Leagues; most notably Jordan Zimmerman(Detroit Tigers), and Clayton Kershaw(LA Dodgers).
