The Field General Academy

The Premier Holistic Catcher Training Program

Led by head instructor Tyler Goodro, the Field General Catching Academy offers an intensive, five-month catcher-specific training program. With over 20 years of experience, Goodro has trained more than 2,000 catchers, including 9 MLB players, 25+ professional catchers, and hundreds of collegiate athletes.

Our program mirrors the intensity and focus of professional spring training. We provide hyper-personal training that covers every aspect of the position, from mobility and arm health to game-speed drills.

A Truly Holistic Approach This year, we're proud to announce a new hitting circuit day and live at-bats, making our program a truly holistic training experience for catchers. All participants will also receive a complimentary membership to Elkhorn Training Camp while enrolled in the academy.

Who: Catchers ages 10u - 18u (broken into appropriate age groups)

When: Unlimited classes from October through March. You can start training in any month.

Where: Elkhorn Training Camp, 715 N 210th St, Elkhorn, NE 68022

Registration opens in September. Join us to find out what it takes to train like a pro.

Refund policy: There will be no refunds after the first week of classes. If you want to push your membership to a later date or use it for lessons, that option is open for discussion.
